Scissors held to victim’s throat in Moree home invasion

A TERRIFIED Moree resident was held with scissors to his throat during a home invasion in Anne Street during the early hours of Friday morning.

And about two-and-a-half hours later the same offenders allegedly attempted to steal a motor vehicle from a Barwon Avenue address.

Offenders fled empty-handed from the Anne Street home invasion.

During a separate incident at around 4am, two male intruders forced entry into a Jones Avenue home where a male and female resident were confronted by an offender armed with a knife.

The intruders demanded money and keys to a vehicle before fleeing in a white Toyota Hilux.

The vehicle was later recovered in bushland off Mehi Crescent.

Specialists will examine all three crime scenes.MoreePolice999
