School grounds to swell for St Phillies Spring Fair this Sunday, September 23

There’s plenty of fun in store this Sunday, September 23, as St Philomena’s celebrates its annual Spring Fair.

The school grounds will transform into a wonderland of activities, with the whole community covered.

Face painting, a fairy den, jumping castle and photo booth are just some of the treats on offer for little ones.

There will also be a plant and produce stall, a cake stall, clothing stall and the ever-popular trash and treasure to ensure plenty on offer for everyone.

Annika Maslin and Alexandra Reardon enjoy last year’s Spring Fair.

An abundance of pre-loved books will also feature.

Train rides, motorbike rides and displays by the Australian Army, Moree Police and Moree Caledonian Pipes and Drum Band will also raise the tempo.

Spring Fair organiser, Karoliina McGregor encourages the whole community to come down to St Philomena’s school grounds on Sunday to enjoy some fantastic food and a fun-filled family day out.

“Some of the dads get a bit competitive on the food stalls – so the lunchtime options are phenomenal,” Karoliina laughed.

The St Philomena’s Spring Fair is held on the school grounds at 55 Boston Street from 10.30am until 2pm this Sunday, September 23.

Entry is free.
