Moree beauty salon robbed of thousands of dollars worth of products during weekend break-in
BEAUTY products worth thousands of dollars were stolen from a Frome Street beauty salon during a break-and-enter at the weekend.
MyTyme Beauty Salon staff arrived at work on Monday morning to find the premises had been broken into and beauty products and property stolen.
The break-and-enter was reported to Barwon LAC and a police investigation is underway.
Owner-manager Cath Harborne is devastated.
“We are not sure exactly when it happened, but it was sometime between Saturday afternoon and the early hours of Monday morning,” she said.
“We are hoping that someone might have seen something suspicious or out of the ordinary and might be able to give police some details, something to go on.”
Product brands stolen include O Cosmedics, DP Dermaceuticals, Sothys and Youngblood make-up.
“There was also a lot of nail and manicure implements stolen as well, so if anyone sees any of these brands or equipment anywhere we ask them to contact Moree police as soon as they can,” Ms Harborne said.
“We have lost a lot of stock. It is so heartbreaking,” she said.
