Domino’s Moree to shout pizzas as a ’thank-you’ to local businesses

MOREE has been plagued by severe drought in recent years and, when the rains finally came back in January, so did the COVID-19 pandemic.

Local businesses have struggled through the worst of times.

However, in true bush spirit, they continue to see the light at the end of a very long tunnel and fight the good fight to keep the doors open.

And to thank local businesses for sticking together through thick and thin, the Moree Domino’s Pizza franchise will shout pizza for lunch to fellow businesses next Wednesday, September 2.

Franchisee Jill Adams said Domino’s Moree wants to give back to the Moree community.

“We want to thank local business for their hard work and passion to keep Moree moving,” Jill said in an open letter to all Moree businesses.

“It’s been a tough time for local businesses all over the country, with decreased revenue and some businesses forced to close.

“Now, as the country is getting back to work, we want to thank you all for your perseverance and the changes you have all made to keep our community safe in the current climate,” Jill said.

“It doesn’t matter if you are a one-person operation or have a work force of 100 people, we want to cater for you and your teams with a free pizza lunch delivered directly to your workplace.”

Domino’s Moree will on September 2 offer a selected lunch menu free-of-charge to Moree businesses – and Jill and her hardworking staff plan to get the town fed within a five-hour time frame.

The store, located on Balo Street opposite Kirkby Park, will offer meat-lover, supreme, Hawaiian, pepperoni and vegorama pizzas in the one-off deal to thank local businesses.

“We will offer allocated time slots from 11am through until 3pm, so we need businesses to please book a slot early to ensure they get the time-frame that best suits them,” Jill said.

Moree businesses are urged to contact Domino’s Moree direct on 6751 3422 prior to 4pm on Tuesday, September 1 to place orders and arrange time slots.

“So far, the response has been fantastic,” Jill said on Friday.
